I would give it 5 stars, but it is lacking in the mathematical explanations of essentially all the techniques and theories involved in NMR. That being said it is great for undergrads and those wanting to learn the basic tenants of NMR in order to run small molecule based experiments. It does a good job at e| |Praise for the Volume "These two books (volumes 270 and 271) comply with and add to the outstanding reputation of the Methods in Enzymology series as a primary source for detailed and practical information on techniques used in the biological sciences.

This book describes the most important high-resolution NMR techniques that find use in the structure elucidation of organic molecules and the investigation of their behavior in solution.
